Bloomquist Paul Jr. is another great workhorse dahlia, producing abundant blooms on long stems with excellent vase life. Highly productive and a good tuber maker, it’s a strong choice for cut flower production. Tubers tend to be on the smaller side, but they are adorably plump and store very well over the winter. Bloomquist Paul Jr. is a deep red variety that matches perfectly with Cornel, offering the same color profile in a slightly smaller bloom size.
